Hi.
I am trying to find a RAF Police Beret.
As a surprize gift for my brother.
He served during the early 70s.
In Northern Ireland And Gibraltar.
Any advice would be great.
Many Thanks.
Item may well be out of stock currently. I have sent you the details of the quartermaster to who you should address your query.
I am seeking information on the late F/Sgt (912802) GERALD LEONARD GARDNER RAF Police. Time served and Theaters of of service. or advice on obtaining the information.
Thank you.
Peter Dawson
Hello Peter,
We can only reach out to our members here to ask If they knew him or of him. You could try the public records office and also these sites might help.

I am trying to find information on the military career of my late father Sgt William Talbot Crutchley 538460. I have requested his service records but these lack detail other than the unit to which he was assigned, from the point he enlisted in Feb ‘37 to his discharge in April ‘50. Having trained in Hendon he spent time at Cranfield before Habbanya and Shaibah in Iraq where I believe he contracted malaria as he had multiple periods in hospital. After the war he reenlisted as a dog handler in the BAFO in Lubeck before returning to the UK. Are there any police records / diaries available to find out more of the duties / operations he may have been involved in – most RAF records seem to relate to flying units (squadrons etc) or to officers.
