He played an instrumental role in guiding our organisation, giving generously of his time, wisdom, and leadership. His contributions have left a lasting legacy, and he will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of working with him.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.
Further details regarding arrangements will be shared in due course.
A true gent with a great sense of humour. A great bloke to work along side. You will be missed Al.
RIP. Alan good to have known you. Had some good laughs.
RIP “Mitch 1”. Much remembered from my NI days in the late 70s and after. Al was one of the good guys with a dry sense of humour and willingness to help and guide when I was one of the youngsters on shift. Also later I worked with his son who certainly is a “chip off the old block” !
Alan was on my basic police course at Debden in 1973, I also served with him at Waddington.
RIP Mitch.
