Former Cpl Phillip Robert Cavill passed away on New Years Eve 2019. Philip served between 2006 to 2016 at RAF Halton and RAF Honnington with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Phillip tragically took his own life.
The Funeral service takes place at 1145hrs on Friday 24 January at the East Chapel, Southampton Crematorium.
Phillip’s Mother has requested serving RAF Police personnel who are attending if they could attend in uniform and she would welcome anyone from the RAF Police who knew Phillip and will also welcome any former RAF Police personnel who may wish to attend.
The family do not wish for the funeral attendance to be overtly publicised in social media, instead keeping it a closed affair with RAF Police being the focus.
