Chris Lee has sadly informed us of the passing of James Walter Carter. Chris writes
“ It is with sadness that we write to inform the association of the death of James Walter Carter service number 3512382 (Jim, known to his school and RAF comrades as Bonus). He died peacefully at home on Sunday 18th December 2022. Jim entered the RAF in 1951 aged 18 and served in Iraq, Habbaniya; Egypt, Port Said; and Cyprus. He was back in the UK by 1956 serving in the CID RAF police until 1957 at Northolt.

There will be a service to celebrate his life at Honor Oak Crematorium SE4 2LJ on Thursday 19th January 2023 at 11.30 am.There is an online tribute page at www.muchloved.com (click on ‘find a Tribute’ and enter, James Walter Carter), where those that may remember Jim will be able to add memories.
