The Son of WO (Ret’d) Jack Sharp, Jack, has sadly informed us of the passing of his father.
Jack writes:
Born in Berwick on Tweed the only son of a career Army soldier serving with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers. His teenage years were happily spent in the Boys Brigade.
Jack Enlisted in 1957 at RAF Driffield, followed by tours at the following units:

After retirement Jack retired and lived in Cricklade with his wife Veda. In the latter years Jack became the main carer for Veda who suffers from Dementia. His own health began to deteriorate, despite having a pacemaker fitted he suffered with Chronic Heart Failure, finally succumbing to the condition, Jack passed away in the early hours of 14 November 2023.
